Zinc +5. D.L.
Description
Agro-K’s Zinc Plus+5 DL™, is a foliar micronutrient containing zinc, manganese, magnesium, iron, molybdenum and copper utilizing Agro-K’s Dextro-Lac manufacturing process to create carbohydrate based nutrients. The Dextro-Lac® process creates a foliar micronutrient product that can quickly penetrate plant tissue and can be easily metabolized. Because Zinc Plus+5 DL can penetrate quickly and requires less expended energy to metabolize than other nutrient forms, Zinc Plus+5 DL increases nutrient efficiency.
While Zinc Plus+5 DL can be used on a wide range of crops, its nutrient balance is particularly well suited for use on nut crops. Applying this product at the start of rapid leaf development will support chlorophyll development and maximize leaf size (photosynthetic surface area). Application of this product is designed for foliar use to prevent or correct micronutrient deficiencies; proper and proactive nutrient management will help maximize crop quality and yield.

Directions For Use
Apply 1 to 8 pints/acre with sufficient water for thorough coverage. For best results spray in early morning or late afternoon. Do not apply during the “sunlight” hours when air temperature is above 90°F. If you have any questions regarding mixing or application rates contact your Agro-K dealer before using this product. Suggested Uses
Walnuts
Apply 1 to 4 quarts per acre per application. Apply first application start of rapid leaf development. Apply subsequent applications at 7-14 day intervals based on tissue analysis and nutrient levels. Foliar apply with air-blast type sprayers with sufficient water for thorough coverage. Zinc+5 DL can be tank mixed with copper applications. Zinc+5 DL can also be applied with husk fly and codling moth spray programs. Consult your crop advisor for more information.
Pistachios, Almonds and other Nut Crops
Apply 1 to 3 quarts per acre per application. Apply first application prebloom. Apply subsequent applications at 7-14 day intervals based on tissue analysis and nutrient levels. Zinc+5 DL is compatible with many fertilizers and pesticides but a compatibility check is recommended. Zinc+5 DL can be applied with hull split and post-harvest sprays as needed.
WARNINGS/CAUTIONS
Do not apply to wet surface areas or when slow drying conditions exist. Do not apply to the point of “run off” –only apply as a foliar mist “to wet”. Do not apply in combination with citrus oils at more than 1pt/ac or 0.5%, whichever is less. Do not apply in combination with petroleum oils at more than 2qts/ac or 1.0%, whichever is less. Do not apply with “fatty acid” based adjuvants.
